COMMUNITY PROGRAM
Drop-In Street Hockey & Basketball Program
All Ages
5:30pm – 8:00pm
All ages and all skill levels are welcome to Drop-In Street Hockey! It’s every Monday from May 1st – October 30th at 135 North Park Street (in the parking lot behind the LCLC). Street Hockey not your thing every week? Don’t worry, we also have basketball, soccer and frisbee on site! All the equipment is provided, as well. No pre-registration required!
Wednesdays
Youth Leader Program
Ages 11 – 18
6:00pm – 7:30pm
This program prioritizes leadership training through participation in skill development sessions, teamwork, self-government and volunteer placement. Through workshops, guest speakers, activities, role playing, etc., youth are engaging in present day issues, solution focused techniques and skill building activities that will give them the tools they need to be the leaders of today.

Youth Conditioning
Ages 11 – 18
6:00pm – 7:00pm
The YThrive program features 5 unique streams of workouts for youth to choose from based on their health & fitness goals. A dedicated team of YThrive coaches are on site to support youth as they find their ideal program!
Youth Basketball
Ages 11 – 18
7:00pm – 9:00pm
NSCC Gymnasium – Enter through Lunenburg County YMCA, 75 High Street
Provides opportunities for youth to be active, have fun, and enhance their skills in a supervised setting.
All basketballs provided.
Fridays
Cook It Up – Shop, Cook & Learn!
*Pre-Registration Required. Limit of 2-3 youth per session.
4pm – 5:30pm
Youth who was pre-register, help staff shop and prepare a meal for their peers for the Food & Fun Program. Youth will learn food costs, grocery budgeting tips, food safety, cooking techniques and meal planning. All groceries will be provided. Youth will receive a copy of all recipes to take home. A chance for youth to gather, enjoy a home-cooked meal and have fun together. All meals will be provided.
