Youth Leader Program
Do you want to make new friends? Build your confidence and skills for the future? Help your community? Feel even better about yourself? If so, the YMCA Youth Leader Program could be for you.
Designed especially for youth between 12 and 18 years old, the program takes the best of today’s youth and helps them become the leaders of tomorrow. The YMCA Youth Leader Program combines leadership training, teamwork, self-government, and volunteer placement to help build confidence – and connections.
The Youth Leader Program is a free program that can open doors for you, giving you the opportunity to:
- Meet other youth
- Build new skills
- Participate in your community
- Earn volunteer hours
- Be eligible for participation in the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Programme
The YMCA Youth Leader Program meets Wednesdays at the King Street Youth Centre in Bridgewater at 6:00pm.
Develop yourself. Get involved in your community. The YMCA Youth Leader Program lets you do both. Participants for Level 1 of this program must complete a Youth Leader Program Registration form. Click here to register.
